That is why we are proud to have the opportunity to offer you an alternative treatment method should we find your property to have a drywood termite infestation.
What is “Orange Oil”?
The active ingredient in Orange Oil, also known as “XT-2000 Orange Oil Plus”, is the oily substance found in the rinds of oranges. Orange Oil is also called D-limonene. Limonene is a chemical found in plants, flowers and trees. D-limonene is the chemical name for orange oil. Orange rinds are distilled to extract the oil, which is 95% pure D-limonene. It’s a renewable resource and is a by-product of orange juice manufacturing.
How Does It Work?
1) Licensed Field Representatives identify the locations of drywood termite colonies in a thorough, quality inspection of your property.
2) Using high-tech optical scopes, acoustic listening devices, or other state-of-the-art detection equipment, licensed Field Representatives determine the extent of the infestation.
3) Licensed Applicators then inject XT-2000 Orange Oil Plus directly into infested wood members. The remarkable properties of Orange Oil and its ability to wick through wood, traveling through the porous cells in all directions and even defying gravity, results in killing the termites.
4) XT-2000 Orange Oil Plus not only treats the areas into which it is injected but will soak into targeted surrounding areas providing a superior termite treatment!
No Moving Out! Save Time & Money!
A 2,300 square foot home will contain approximately 13,000 board feet of wood. 15 nests of drywood termites can occupy as much as 65 board feet. This equates to less than 1% of the total structure.
So, why treat an entire structure for termites and pay hundreds of dollars in move-out costs when research shows that on average only 1/2 to 1% of a home with known termites is actually infested? It’s time to choose a better method of termite control.
